Parents and politicians from all over Renfrewshire came together on 8th March to oppose the Council plan to cut the school transport facility.
An Emergency Council Meeting was convened to try force the Council to abandon plans to extend the walking distance to 3 miles.
In what was a rowdy meeting, there was uproar after some councillors apparently changed their voting intentions to defeat the opponents of the plan at the last moments. More....
