Mod Festival Banner

The Royal National Mod was officially opened on Friday, 11th October, with a Torchlight Procession along the High Street and finishing at the Town Hall, where Provost Anne Hall announced the Mod 2013 was underway.

The Mod received a Royal visitor on Tuesday, 15th October, when the Princess Royal, Princess Anne paid a visit to the Town to watch Children’s’ Day competition at the Town Hall.

The Royal National Mòd came to an end on Saturday,19th October after all the combined choirs of the Mòd came together in concert. Renfrewshire’s Provost, Anne Hall, handed the Mòd flag over to next year’s host, Inverness.
